Masquerade is a raw look at our greatest needs and vulnerabilities—love, acceptance, and belonging. We’ll do anything to achieve them and avoid rejection. The result is the human masquerade, wearing masks to fit in, masks to check out, and masks to hide the pain. We even wear masks over our masks in hopes no one finds out who we really are, in fear we’ll be deemed not good enough to belong... or good enough to be loved. Eventually, the masks hijack our real identity until we don't know who we are anymore... or how to find our way back.
